when I worked at McD's in HS it was closed for thanksgiving but the co workers along with management would get together for an inter store football game then we would head back to McD's for big macs ( thats all they made big macs and fries..)

lamb shanks. never cooked them before but went to allrecipes. they were priced about $4.50 each at Jewel today with $2 off stickers.

Yum- I saw some lamb shanks at Jewel yesterday and wondered when they'd be marked down. I should swing by.

Strangely DH objected to having steak tonight since we had it a few days ago:dunce: This from the man who says I don't care if I had pizza for lunch we can order it if you want...and declares himself a meat and potatoes kind of guy:dunce:

So on the fly I thawed some of the slow cooker buffalo chicken I had frozen and am now making chicken enchiladas and buffalo chicken dip with chips:surrender:
