I have been extremely pissed with the level of spam that I have been getting lately. This is especially when I click on unsubscribe features in the mail but then don't seem to work anymore. Does it mean that some of these companies choose to spam us on purpose even when we are not interested in their updates?
A lot of companies don't really listen to people's requests to unsubscribe from things and just continue to spam you. That is why I use burner emails for everything nowadays rather than relying on one central email address. Sometimes companies state it can take a while to remove you from their lists but that's just so they can send more spam your way.
