Last, but not least for this week's chart toppers is a remixed version of Lana Del Rey's Summertime Sadness. This song is placed at #5 on the UK Charts, moving down from #4 in the previous week and has been in the charts for 10 weeks. This is a chance for me to introduce some discussion about the songs, to receive your opinions and thoughts about the songs and the artists and generally give you guys something to talk about.

The original Summertime Sadness was released on the 22nd of June 2012, while the remix was released on the 2nd of February 2013 to an American contemporary hit radio.

i like the original better.

The original is a lot better in my opinion, also.
But I've never really liked remixed versions of songs, particularly in this style. They just get rather irritating.

i like some of them (and now i cant seem to remind any) but most are just mixed with a bit faster or cut in half and added beats to it

I find that a lot of remixes all have the same beats thrown in, repeatedly used.

true... that's why good DJ's are kinda hard to find these days..
