Tips for Insomnia!

If you have insomnia or irregular sleeping like I do, my therapist has recommend me to :

1. Read a book (paperback not e-readers).

2. Take sleeping pills or mood tranquilizers.

3. Do aroma therapy.

4. Listening to music, relaxing ones though.

5. Adjust your room temperature to cooler.

What about you? What works for you for insomnia or irregular sleeping for you personally?
 
Listening to cool music helped me at the early stage of insomnia. It is one of the tips that I used in having a cool night sleep and I loved every bit of it.
 
I have only ever suffered from insomnia once and it was not a pleasant experience at all. I remember struggling so much at the time and tips like this would have helped me so much back then.

Nowadays if I struggle to sleep I tend to use aromatherapy and also ensure the room is dark, I have my window open on a night latch to let cool air in so that the room is a little cooler and I find it easier to fall asleep that way.
