Thoughts on Ryzen 5s?

What are peoples thoughts on the Ryzen 5 series of CPUs? Do you think they are any good or do you think there is better out on the market? I know they're not top of the line anymore but I think they run pretty well.

I use a 5 series and haven't had any problems. They do tend to run hot but if you're doing something like gaming then that is to be expected I guess.

The Ryzen 5 line of chips is a decent offering but based on the current pricing for like the Ryzen 7 line and onwards it's probably more viable to buy one of those if you're looking to build or upgrade now. I personally wouldn't bother using a 5 series anymore although they are good.
