My therapist who is also my psychiatrist is retiring on September 15th 2022. I wish him good luck in his retirement and to enjoy it fully and wholly, but I'll miss him. And I'm on the waiting list for a new one as he has cancelled all my appointments with him so yeah. I dunno who my next one will, female or male, know nothing about him/her. I'm a bit stressed out and anxious about it TBH. What about you? Do you have a therapist/psychiatrist/dr retiring?
Hope you got a new one? I always think that the bond we build with our personal doctors are always awesome and strong. I will say that it is not easy to adapt, but hope the new one is doing better?
It's always difficult when you have someone that you have been seeing and you are used to having to leave due to something like retirement. I can understand why you must have been feeling anxious and worried about getting someone new, I would be too.
Did you get a new psychiatrist? How are you finding them? Hopefully, they are what you hoped and you are happy with the care you are receiving.
