Ring doorbells

Do you have a Ring (or other brand) doorbell installed at your house? I don't have one but I would like to get one for when I can't get to the door quickly. I know they can be very useful for talking to the postman if you can't answer or for security reasons in case of an intruder.

They seem to be quite expensive from the prices I've seen on Amazon. I think they sometimes have sales on though which is good. What are people's thoughts on Ring? Is it good and has it saved you from an issue before? I'm also keen to know about the video quality if someone has one?

We did have one but unfortunately, someone stole the part on the outside that is used to ring the doorbell so we haven't bothered replacing it and we now rely on people to knock instead and hope that we hear it. I would have loved to get a ring doorbell if I am honest but I worry that may get stolen as well so have not bothered going for one. Not sure how easy it would be to steal when I think about it.
