E-scooters have suddenly popped up everywhere in UK cities as a trial to see if they are a good alterntive for travelling around palces. London is full of them and I see one every single day due to how many people have started to use them.

Owning one personally and riding it in public is currently banned because of stupid laws against not having insurance or an MOT certificate for them even though they're just a scooter with a motor inside it. However a lot of city councils have official schemes to trial them.

They're very handy to use and are good fun too. It's just a shame that they can sometimes be hard to find and aren't cheap either.

I feel over the last few years, electric scooters have become super popular, there is never a time I do not see someone on an electric scooter when I head out.

They are so expensive though and it must be a pain to have to keep charging to use them.

In late 2022, I asked my two youngest boys if they wanted an electric scooter and they both said no, they felt they were too dangerous.
