This is South American tropical fish, a Keyhole Cichlid and i have had it for a couple of years now. :D It is a very timid fish and likes to hide away under larger plant leaves, bogwood or caves, etc..
It is very friendly and has never attacked any other fish in my tank.
It likes to mind its own business in the aquarium and means no harm to others. :D
As i mentioned before, this tropical fish of mine is very easily scared and when it is feeling threatened or scared, it makes it's body go very dark in colour until it starts to feel ok again.
In the photo below you can see this fish in with one of my other Cichlids, my Blue Acara..
