My old house in Kingston was haunted - it was typical Canadian home - built in the late 1940's - I own the house for about 3 years - the man who own the house drank himself to death - the house had been on the market for a while - there were boot marks on the front door - where the police had kick the door in - he had been dead 2 weeks maybe longer - before the alarm was rasied - they were small blood stains - that never came out of the basement floor - it was stain permanently - the house was cheap - so I didn't care - nothing a lick of paint wouldn't fix - anyway back to the haunting - the haunting seamed to get very intense around Christmas until the end of Jan - Its was fab - It was really interesting - no visual - which was shame - Molly ( my dog a border collie ) was the first to notice - she would refused to go into the dinning room - barking like crazy and growling - I didn't think too much about it - I used to get the creepy feeling when I went in the certain rooms - but I put down to I was smoking to much - or cabin fever - when your in a small town - in the middle of nowhere in the middle of winter - and its been snowing hard for days and its-35 outside anything possible - the last year was the most intense haunting - just after Jan - it was great - It lasted about 10 days - Day 1 - a cupboard was moved across the room - all the books that were on the table line neatly up on the kitchen floor - then about few hours later lots of knocking - every room I went the room would knock loudly around 2am to 3am in the morning this would happen - that was fab - 2nd night a chair got ram under the door - I heard massive screeching sound on the floor boards - as the chair was being drag across the room - then the chair being ram under the door handle - took me ages to get the door back open - then knocking started this went on for about another 7 days - always around 2am - as for this year - I wonder just how the new people are coping with the ghost - cause I really enjoy it. the ghost was trying to get my parner attention the most - it would always pick a room were every my partner was - to start knocking - because my partner refused to belive in ghost - I still have trouble today beliving in just what happen - still to this day and beyound - did all that really happen!!
