A year ago I helped out a former co-worker that had allergy issues by agreeing to take in her cat. At the time she said we could return him if things didn't work out with our other 2 cats since Coconut was from an only cat household all his life. Well, we're still having issues with his need to be top cat and have tried to find a permanent home for him with family and friends. Since the allergy issues were alleviated by him leaving his first home, his first family was unwilling to take him back when we first decided it wasn't going to work out even though they said they would

Well now we are dealing with some different issues with one of our original cats and the time has come to either find him a home outside our immediate family or take him to the shelter. I took him in to try to avoid having his first owner do this because she was concerned about the kill rates even at the no- / low- kill shelters. Even now I am still shocked by the number of cats at the shelters. I really don't want to take him to the shelter but with traveling so much I can't have him terrorizing the others. Ironically, both of the cats we currently have were adopted from the shelter we will need to take him to as early as tomorrow. He really is a sweet cat but needs to be an only cat to be in his element.

So if you are looking for a sweet maine **** cat , 6 years old who is declawed please let me know. Sadly, it's time for us to give him up.
