I'm wearing warm clothes and the cats are cuddling close. I woke up to three on me this morning. Good thing we have the real estate.
I have already been out and back...had to see the "vampire" this morning to have my Vit d and T3 levels checked. I see the doctor next week about those.
Was a might be chilly here this morning too... 19 degrees when I took the little one to school.
I know what you mean about the three, every night I go to bed, and dh sits down at the desk, the bed is then invaded by no less then 2 and often 3 (more often now that the outdoor cats have been grounded for life)... dh has to relocate them before he can come to bed....
Michelle, not much happening yet...the doctor's report hasn't gone to GE yet. Until it does, things stay normal. Apparently he uses a transcribing service and they can take up to two weeks to get reports done. So we sit and twiddle our thumbs. Liz
I would say cold but it's not cold but northern standards. :freezing1: Woke up to below freezing for about the 5th morning in the last 10 days. Not sure why we've had such cold weather lately.
Okay, his bosses have waded in. Kept HR up til 9 the other night on this (have to remember that while they...HR... may be here in Wilmington, they, his bosses, are in San Jose and 9PM ET was NOT late for them). He's at work but just occupying a chair, twiddling his thumbs.
Latest I had from him was what Ram sent to HR and I wrote dh back and said "Translate Ram please".
He called and said, yeah, you read right, he wants me retired out of the position NOW.
I spent yesterday giving more blood...my doctor wanted a blood gas done...boy was it painful. He was testing some levels of some of my maintenance meds to be sure we weren't having problems...some of my levels were a bit on the low side.
Hi all...spent the day at mom's. I knew there was at least one bill needing to be paid before I'm out again to celebrate Easter a day late. Mom is doing very well. She's got her heart set on having lamb for Easter dinner (when we're there with her on Monday), so I stopped at A&P and picked up a leg of lamb on sale. She should be happy then. ;-)
Today was weird weather-wise out there today. Snow showers on and off most of the day. Very windy too.
Liz, sorry the blood draw was so painful. Hope nothing is wrong to cause low levels.
And it isn't even snowing!!! I made it on the computer. Actually I mad a snowman and a snowwoman. I'll post them in picasa so y'all can see them. Picasa album
At first I thought I would lose my mind but then it got easier.
Me time hmmmmm I know how that feels... thought I was going to have lunch with Suzanne yesterday, due to the weather she had to go on call with the rescue division, and she had to cancel, couldn't be that far from home... so we were supposed to have lunch today.... then something came up with JROTC, and I had to cancel on her...
We both laughed and said how can two unemployed people, who complain about the lack of stuff to do all week long... not find one day to have lunch? LOL
Yesterday turned into housework, today turned into a run to Sams with the Booster club to pick up concession supplies for the competition on Saturday.... tomorrow is going to be massive heavy cleaning... getting ready for company on Wednesday.
I guess I needed the time away from dh, even though it wasn't exactly "ME" time! lol It's so nice to be home. Dh was extremely helpful yesterday when I arrived back home.
I've been rather busy, as I'm sure everyone has been busy. Been out to mom's and took her and her 2 caregivers to lunch at the other caregiver's house for Christmas dinner yesterday. It was so nice. I stayed overnight and today mom's live-in caregiver went on vacation and her replacement arrived. I was busier than a one-armed wallpaper hanger working with mom on her Christmas card message, her donation list for this year. Both of those projects I brought home to work on and complete for mom. Then I had to run some errands. I finally was able to leave around 3:30 this afternoon. Boy, I wish I had pushed to move mom closer to me. It would sure make things easier for me.
Liz, glad you turned the car in and also finished your cards and presents. I still have to finish up some shopping, but the weather is not helping! Maybe I'll spend tomorrow baking indoors!
I saw that storm heading your way...glad it's missed us so far. We may get some of it but so far...now, dh's cousin over in West Asheville has gotten EIGHT inches so far. She said SNOW is a four letter word.
Yeah, I wish your mom had moved closer to you too but that's water under the bridge now.
At least here on the east coast of the states the weather has been beautiful the past couple of days. I've been hanging out on my porch with my laptop more then sitting at the desk. It's also nice to get out and walk without freezing half to death. I clocked a mile and a half this morning.
btw, this is what I had just finished doing when before the reply earlier
it was the "Google St. Patrick's Day Parade"
The first picture was a little while before the parade started, the second was last night when we're building the float.
