I've been with my boyfriend for nearly 3 months now. I know, it's not that long. But it's been long enough for me to appreciate all the things he does for me. He's done more for me in the past 3 months than any of my ex's ever did. He treats me so well and I feel like I should show him my appreciation but I don't know how!
He already knows that I appreciate everything he does for me and that I'm not used to such treatment, but I want to show it more.
As well as treating me like a Queen, he's supported me throughout the injury I suffered over a couple months ago (when we'd only been together a matter of weeks), which I'm still recovering from. Despite his fear of hospitals, nearly being sick and nearly passing out, he stayed there with me until past midnight, even though he had to get up really early the next morning for work. Then he came round mine every day, despite having an extremely busy schedule, sometimes with little gifts like my favourite drinks/foods, along with words of comfort and support. He made one of the most depressing and traumatic episode of my life a lot more bearable.
I've thought about a little love letter, filled with appreciation but I thought that would look a bit clingy and odd for such a short relationship. I can't spend much money atm and his birthday is in August. He always says how he'll just refuse any gifts from me, even for his birthday and he always says, "what's mine is yours and what's yours is yours", but I always dispute it.
I don't know if I should get him two presents for his birthday, one for his birthday and one along with a letter of appreciation/thanks. Or get him something little now, separate from his birthday.
How can I show my appreciation apart from loving him to death? :aww: What would you do in order to show appreciation to someone?
