What's new

how freaky ...

That's a really odd story.
Why would they steal those?
And if these things are so deadly to humans, why were they in a pet store?
I dunno about you people, but I don't usually go out and buy deadly animals for pets.

They took crabs too. I try to stay away from people with crabs.
Found it to be a good practice.

Alaways An Alien

Always An Alien:

Yes I hate spiders, even have an occasional dream about them. I'll leave them be if they leave me be. If I see one in the house though, it's history. I have this paranoia about them crawling on me in my sleep, or walking into my mouth or making a home in my nose and ears when i'm sleeping. Serious, I'm messed up like that!

Alien : that isn't weird, I have the same issues.
That **** story from Scary Stories I read when I was a kid made me have weird thoughts like that. It's a story about a girl with a huge "zit" on her face that ends up being where a spider laid its eggs, and it eventually pops and she has baby spiders all over her.

ewww! *shivers and hides from spiders*

They totally creep me out! My SO hates them but refuses to kill them because he says they kill other bugs.

Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez thanks for that thought!

Okay, now I'm really gonna be paranoid. I sure hope I don't get any acne any time soon.

Hmm, ya know it's funny.. Everyone knows someone who says "they kill other bugs, i won't kill one". It's like a secret club or codeword or something, I swear.

You never hear someone say "you see, they serve several useful purposes.. yadda yadda.." It's always "they kill other bugs". I swear, there's a secret club. They learned to say it the same way, and word it the same way somewhere!

Maybe we should blame this on organized religion too.

Reading that little news report makes me want to beat that pet store owner like a red-headed step child. Er, not that I DO that, of course... Umm...
But the point I'm trying to make is WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD DISPLAY SPIDERS THAT DANGEROUS IN A PETSHOP??

A couple of years ago I lived in a apartment and right outside my door there was this big **** spider just chillin. I didn't mess with him even though I'm no fan of spiders myself. He stayed so long I named him Ronny. I got pics of Ronny. One day I went outside and he was gone. I never new what happened to Ronny.
The wierd thing is that the apartment across the way, a spider had built a web by there door and that mutha was bug **** too. I named him Fresno. I moved away from those apartments before Fresno so maybe Freso is still kickin it there.

In my house if I see a little spider making webs up around the corners I'm cool with that, but if a big **** gets in it's over.
