Or how did you meet your honey, for those who are unmarried but committed in their hearts. Well??? Give us the scoop, with allll the gory details.

We met March 2, 2002, in a bar. It was a mutual friend's friend's birthday party.

We lived in Oklahoma at the time ... started talking ... realized we went to high school in Texas just miles away from each other and knew tons of people in common.

The next morning, I woke up and was hungry ... I didn't have any money left, so I called him to see if he would take me to lunch.

We took a road trip to Austin, Texas, three weeks later and got matching tattoos.

Moved in May 1, 2002 ... married May 2005.

I was walking into a restaurant with a female friend...and he was walking out and said "look at the beautiful girl!"

I went in and had something to eat with my friend and in the middle of the meal he came back and got my number.

We were exclusive within weeks of that meeting.

:joey: which restaurant?

on the internet, catholicsingles.com

give gory details later, but best decision I ever made!!!

HEY don't shortchange us! We need gory details!

My DH was a painter on a job I was working in 1996. My nephew was just 1, his son was just born and they were both named Kyle and we thought that was funny. He was the foreman and always hung around in my construction trailer and honestly I thought he was annoying.

Didn't talk to him again (disappeared from my mind really) until 2004 when a mutual friend of ours mentioned "remember this guy?" was getting a divorce and was I interested in going on a date with him? This was when I was in the thick of the horribleness from my nephew and he was in the worst of the horribleness of his divorce so we were perfect for each other and have been together ever since that first date in 2004.

My a$$ is so white ... you'd be blinded ... but, this is similar ... we Texans are proud of our state!

My friend and his friend were dating and we got together to go to a carnival in '94. In '99 my friend and I met up again with him through a mutual friend. I had stayed in touch with a few of his friends and we went to a party at his apartment. Catching up on the past and I went to leave. He walked me out after grabbing a piece of gum. We exchanged numbers and then he asked me in spanish to give him a kiss. At the time I didn't know what give me was in spanish, but I knew what kiss meant. We have been together ever since, some rough patches, but still together.

winter wedding at lake shangri la resort on wis il border. 1970. we were both six and it was love at first sight. we polka danced all night. and he caught me in the coat closet and kissed me and proposed right there. we always kept in touch after that even though he lived in crystal lake and i lived in richmond. he was my true love and we married right out of high school in may of 1983. <3

Met at a rehearsal dinner, we were both standing up for the wedding.

Ironically our own rehearsal dinner was 4-years to the day after the one we met at.

We didn't plan it that way, in fact it did not occur to us until that day, was kind of funny!

My DH and I were in the same group of friends as undergraduates. The first time I remember meeting him (he remembers an earlier time) was one night when a bunch of us went out to the movies. After the movie, DH and his friend invited me and my friend to see their apartment. I remember walking back to his apartment behind them with my friend and saying to her, "I get the dark-haired guy, you can have the blonde." We all had fun and I thought DH was cute, and I think he even drove us home, but he didn't ask me out... :pout:

Fast forward a few months (I dated other guys), and a bunch of us went camping in November. It was freaking cold! We huddled together to stay warm (DH to me :cartwheel:), and DH and I were the only ones of our friends who both had mummy sleeping bags. This made an impact on DH, who made a point to sleep next to me that night. It still took him over two more months to ask me out. Eventually he did, and the rest followed.

I met my DH at work. He was our Fedex guy.. We started talking everyday. Then went out on a date and we knew we where meant for each other. Funny thing he grew up around my aunt's house like down the street and we actually saw each other as kids as we had the same doctor.

Our first date was Dec. 5 1992, we got engaged Set 1 1993, got married July 2nd. 1994. Short and sweet. We just had our 17th wedding anniversary.

I worked at a gas station and he was the tanker driver delivering fuel ,we always flirted everytime he came in and another co worker called me at home and put him on the phone and he asked me to go to dinner and ever since we go to same place on our anniv, june 19th 1989...He is older than me so I wasn't sure at the time if that was gonna be a problem,,but I guess not,,

He was a cashier at Dominck's and I bagged for him my first day on the job. We didn't start going out for several years, but since I was behind him when I was bagging, I noticed he had a really cute butt right away.

I prank-called him randomly. He went thru the phonebook to find my unusual first name and called me back. We talked for a month before we met.

I like all the stories, they seem like fate.

Bible School. He was a year ahead of me. I was friends with his roomie first (he and I were on a puppet ministry team together), which is how I met my DH, but once I saw him...had my eye on him. He walked by my lunch table one day, stopped, came back, said he wanted to talk with me but had to work the next couple days. I had to wait TWO whole days for him to ask me out. We were engaged 8 months later. Have been married 17 years now. =)

Fuzzy, I thought I was your one and only man!!!

Back in 1997, I had gotten a part time job for something to do because all my friends were already married and had kids (and not enought time for me...lol) and he was my boss. He was married at the time we met, but about a year later was getting a divorce. He spent 3 months flirting with me and then finally gave me his phone number and said to call him. We started dating and then I left the part time job because I did not want him to get in trouble if it got out that we were dating. We got married 1 1/2 years later. We just had our 11 year anniversary in March!
