I have not made a purchase for a forum and then merged it into a forum I currently own but I do know people that have and it helped them out drastically when it came to content on the forum.
Have you ever purchased a forum that was for sale and merged it into a current forum you have? Did it benefit your forum?
Not in my case. However, it happens a lot and it's a shame cause many of the deleted forums were very interesting projects. They were forums such as Promotion Future and Forum Advertiser.
I have never merged a form before, But I have sold 4 different forums in the past and it has never turned out well for them. I am always super active on my forums and the new owners just leave them to die and they do die which is sad to see all my hard work wasted. That is why I'll never sell another forum.
