I used to get mine done every 6 weeks up until COVID and the pandemic. Once lockdowns started and we couldn't go to hairdressers to have our hair cut so we looked for ways to be able to trim our hair on our own and now we do it ourselves at least me and my daughter do. I also cut my three sons' hair as well now as we have the hair clippers to do that and I have learned to cut their hair shirt back and sides as they have it so we have no need to go to the hairdressers now unless we want a style I can not do.
I cut my own hair about every 6 weeks! It's below my shoulders and I bought a clip off Amazon that helps hold the hair in place and I slide it down so that it shows only 1/4" to cut off. My hair is getting longer and it's harder to move that clip down and I have to ask for help now to get it even.
I had mine trimmed two weeks ago after it was colored.
I get my hair cut every three or four months. I have thick hair like my father and it grows pretty fast so I like to keep it short. I used to let it grow out when I was younger and often had it to my shoulders at times. My dad has really long hair and has always had long hair for as long as I can remember.
