Grades

I wouldn't say grades truly affect your future at all. I myself didn't get the greatest grades in either maths or English when I was in school but I was still able to do a level 2 childcare course in college and I was able to do my maths whilst I was doing that course so that I could get the grade I needed. Many schools say what you leave school with will affect your future but I feel they do that to scare you into doing better than your best and that is something I am not in agreement with as you can only ever do your best.

Grades affects people's future. An intending medical doctor may not be able to make it to the end, if they don't have a good grade. There are other profession that such is not going to work.

They can in many instances, but not all. However, though, as a safeguard, I'd try to get a B or A GPA (or something near it). I wouldn't settle for a C one.

A good gpa can open doors to more schooling and to really good jobs. However, though, it's far from being something that can sentence you to poverty. In fact, often it's sheer determination pushing you ahead, even in non-blue collar jobs.

It can help, or it can end up just being stuff on paper. A lot of jobs I interviewed for never cared what my GPA was.

Having bad grades is a shame, even if it doesn't matter for jobs. In fact, I'm sure a lot of people have made bad grades that have regretted it, just for honor reasons. Well, in my case, I got a A in Calculus I and a B in Calculus II, but I'd like to retake some other courses cause, honestly, I flubbed up some of them.
