The metaverse is a virtual world where you simulate real-life activities in the virtual environment. The metaverse is an online platform on the blockchain. The Facebook company rebranded itself to meta because the company decided to create a virtual environment where users can emulate all real-life activities. Decentraland is one of the most popular metaverses existing today. It is a virtual real estate platform.
It's only Mark Zuckerberg's applications that are all tagged to be of metaverse that are my involvement with it. I'm not that impressed or interested in it. If it's something that I can afford to skip getting into, I will do it.
I believe Roblox have started using a lot of the metaverse just recently for their live-in-game events that they have been doing. I have taken part in a few of these in terms of jumping in the game when these live events have been happening and they are quite amazing to experience and be a part of. I am excited to see how the metaverse progresses.
