I always remember as a kid how all my family members used to have a house phone. Nowadays with mobile phones being as popular as they are, many people opt to only have a mobile phone and a plan for it that they pay monthly and don't bother with a house phone anymore.
I do know some people do still have a house phone but it is very rare to see it. I myself have not had a house phone in years if I am honest and do not feel like I would need one.
