When you're building a PC, do you get a power supply that supports enough power output to all of your components or do you like to go overboard a little bit and get the biggest and best one you can for your case?

I try and make sure I don't over spend so I just make sure I get one that outputs a decent amount of power. I don't think you need to go too over the top if you're not going to need it.

You should always make sure you get a power supply that outputs more power than you need but I don't think you need to go overboard with it. If there is a component that needs to draw more power then be mindful as to what your PSU can achieve but I don't think you need to double or triple the power output as that's just not efficient.
