Some people are not into making use of VPN for any reason whatsoever. They are always of the opinion that some of it always compromise their data and put them at security risk. It's been warned that one shouldn't use VPN to run any of his bank transactions. What's your take on VPN? Do you make use of it?
I use a VPN sometimes but it's mostly for when I want to watch something on a streaming platform and need to pretend to be in a different country LOL! I don't use it often but it does come in handy from time to time though. They can also be quite good for just general security as well when you're browsing online but like I said, I don't always have one active.
I don't use a VPN as I've never had a need to use one before but I can see why people may want to use them. I think the most popular reason people seem to use a VPN is when they are wanting to spoof their location and pretend to be in a different country for streaming services. I know Netflix has problems with people doing that a lot.
I do have a VPN installed but I rarely use it. It's one of those things that I only really enable it if I want to watch something on like US Netflix or something. I know that it's good to ensure your privacy online, particularly when using public WiFi but in terms of just general day to day browsing online I don't enable it.
I have been known to make use of a VPN in the past for things such as watching something that I wouldn't normally be able to watch unless I was in another country.
I will admit, I have not used a VPN in some time and the last time I did it was to watch an episode of a TV show that I was interested in.
