There are a lot of art galleries around and a lot of people spend their free time going art galleries to see art from a range of artists based on a range of different subject matters. I personally am not a fan of going to art galleries, its not really my scene.
I find it confusing to understand what paintings (especially abstract) are about. I am more likely to go and see photography exhibitions than paintings as they are more 'real life' so easier to understand.
Do you like art galleries? Is there one that you like best?

If you had asked this question 8 years ago, I would give you an affirmative answer, however, my current answer is negative. I used to visit art galleries frequently and I rarely missed any exhibition. I am still interested in art, but I don't have time to visit a gallery.

I used to like going to the Art Institute in Chicago when I was in art school because it gave me insight in how the masters worked. But nowadays I really don't go visit art museums. I don't like contemporary abstract work at all and think a lot of it is rubbish.

I can honestly say I have never been to an art museum myself, I do not think we have any near where I live so that would be one of the reasons I have not visited one, and being that whenever I do travel away from where I live we usually have other plans for the day, one has never been to an art gallery or museum.

There might be some virtual tours online you can watch? At most museums you can no longer get very close to the artwork anyway because of security. The guards in Chicago watch people very closely whenever they approach the art. A lot of it has a rope boundary you can't cross.

I'm not so interested in art. I prefer natural art like in the outdoors. Anyway, that's not saying a lot of created art isn't beautiful, though. Well, I need to open my mind to it. I do like to create my own art.

I have had the opportunity to explore some art galleries in the past. While I may not understand every piece, I still find enjoyment in visiting when I have some free time. My most recent gallery visit was prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. I had the pleasure of attending with a friend who happens to be an artist.

I love art yes, there is no denying that fact. But I don't think I love it to the point where I would go and see it. If by chance I come across it, that's a different case but to make it my reason for going out, I highly doubt that right now.
