Do you go for brand foods or non-brand foods and drinks?

When it comes to shopping for food or even drinks, you will find that there are a lot of brands but they tend to be really expensive due to the name. You will also find that you can get non-branded foods and drinks which are less than the branded items but may also be just like the branded ones as well.

When it comes to shopping for food or drink, do you tend to shop for branded food and drink or non-branded food and drink?

My moms been buying non-brand name drinks recently just because their cheaper. Though I prefer sundrop, drinking mountain lion or mountain lightning from food lion isn't all that bad. It's still a good drink but sundrop is indeed so much better. She sometimes gets brand name foods though.

I usually stay with on brand stuff, but I should get the cheaper off brands to save some money.

I live on a fixed income and I have to be very savvy when it comes to going to the grocery store. I buy some things name brand and other I buy off brand. Because some things like noodles taste the same with name brand and off brand.
