When the pandemic of coronavirus hit the world, almost every single thing in the world was shutdown including schools but the academic institution found a workaround in order not to delay students with their learning.

Did anyone you take part in any online education at the time when the world was battling coronavirus?

I attended a traditional classroom and graduated from the university. However, I also attended a lot of online classes. My online education was mainly related to skill development training, for example, I attended online courses on writing, SEO, digital marketing, etc.

There are so many soft skills that can be studied and learnt online now. One of my favorite places to learn such soft skills is Udemy. They have so many courses that you would get confused on where to start. Digital marketing is a good one to read.

During the pandemic, I took a course on Negotiation from the University of Michigan by attending classes online via Coursera. That was one of the best courses that I have taken online as I learnt a whole lot at the end. I have not had time to take another course online since then.

Udemy is of course very popular leaarning platforms, howeve, there are a lot of other platforms better than Udemy. While Udemy courses ar euser generated courses, courses on Future Learn and Coursera ar eprepared by universities and experts in the related field.

During the lockdowns and the pandemic, I did not take part in online education but my kids did and I did have to encourage them to do their work as well as help them with their work as well. I will admit that helping them with their work and looking at how things were worked out did help me in learning a lot of what they are taught now.
