What is your take on the cloning of people? Do you think it's right? What's your stance on cloning generally? I personally think it's very scary to think that one day humans may get cloned. It is possible as we know from 'Dolly the sheep'.
I think it could create a world of problems for society and also for the clones themselves due to how genetics work and the possibility of peoples health deteriorating. I don't think it should be allowed and I don't see any purpose for it to happen. What are your thoughts on potentially cloning someone?
I think that something with such a big impact as cloning needs to be carefully considered. In my opinion there are some things that although are scientifically possible and proven to work, are not necessarily ethical. With the worlds population already putting a strain on the climate is there a need for clones of people??
I think it would be so cool to be able to clone humans and see what the events of a persons life impact them, as the genetics would be the same. You would be able to do some really good 'nature vs nurture' experiments. I think it would be an amazing bit of scientific research. Definitely wouldn't be very ethical though.
I don't think you should be able to clone people because I think too much could go wrong and you could end up causing the clone harm if the experiment didn't go to plan.
I also think there would be implications too as to who looks after your clone and how you treat them. People would probably end up getting their clone to just do chores all the time!
We have approved surrogacy, we have approved gender change, we do in-vitro fertilization, we get pregnant from donor's eggs or sperms, what's the problem with cloning? I don't see any problem as long as it does not create a frail human being.
I don't believe that there is anything bad with cloning. It would lead to the proliferation of desired characteristics of humans alone. Anyways, the natural selection we are doing now has given the world balance.
I think that for many cloning would be like defying god or playing god, and that's why it's still a pretty controversial topic, at least that's what I think, from my point of view and opinion, I don't see anything wrong with cloning.
