Okay, I'm not sure where else to post this bad boy, so here goes. I'm running Windows 98 SE in ACPI. I have a Netgear 10/100 NIC, I think it's a FA310TX on an Abit BH6. BIOS is the latest last I checked a week ago. Drivers haven't been updated (of course now I'm going to do that as soon as I get home) since I got the card. The issue is when I go into my network neighborhood properties, my client is gone and a little pop-up window says that my network is incomplete, do I want to continue? Duh. I click yes and add the client...reboot. It comes back up with the Windows logon screen. I log on, then go back into network neighborhood properties. Gosh oh golly gee, the client is gone. I can go through this process all day, but I get the same result. This wouldn't be so bad, except it's a little hard to network Baldur's Gate without the client. And on top of that, I won't be able to get internet access once I have DSL up and running on my Linux box. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
