I can admit somethings are wrong, but I don't like being preached about it. The preaching is where the resentment on the right comes from, I think. For instance, I can say the South did serious wrongs in the antebellum time, but I wouldn't like people rubbing that in, 24/7. Now, myself, I'm a white person from the southern USA, who grew up there.
Well, people are different and look at things differently. if you don't want preachy then you outrightly tell the people around you and let them know what you can tolerate or not. So that you have your peace
