i have no pets now, but i have had in the past:
goldfish - gave them away for a hamster
the hamster died
got another one - it bit me, i gave it away
got another one - it died
no pets for a while, then my dad found a parakeet
died because it was too cold in our house in the winter
got a few fish, then they died
Spidey> I grew up with dachshunds. There are so cute! Then my mother got two new dachshunds when she moved to FLorida with my stepfather who has a beagle. Not the same kind of mixing that you were talking about but as a couple, beagles and dachshunds are cute together
I now have a Shepherd Mix who's going to be 8 yrs old tomorrow and a Siberian Husky who's going to be 6 in June. Sweetest dogs ever!
I had many pets growing up though; dogs, hamsters, gerbils, teddybear hamsters, guinea pig, parakeets, finches, snakes (2 of which were garners the others I don't remember but they were copper in color and non poisonous. The snakes were technically my brother's but I was the only one that actually took them out of their cages to play with them so I feel like they are also mine), fish, kittens (in the past 7 years I had 3 of them but I'm allergic to adult cats so I had to adopt them out), lizards, and hermit crabs. For some reason I'd like to have a bat (the ones that look like little foxes) but no one should own a bat so I guess that dream is out.
We currently have two fish tanks. The 2 gal. has a betta, an algae eater, and a black mystery snail. The 5 gal. has 2 black skirt tetras, 2 blood fin tetras, 2 black mystery snails, and a frog.
When we eventually get a house of our own, I think we plan on getting 2 cats.
Yorkies are actually pretty good dogs for small apartments even, but my Yoda has plenty of room to roam around the house. He has his spots all around the house and his toys are ALL OVER!
