who are looking to add to your furry family? I have two beautiful three year old brothers, Sammy and Duke who I need to find a home for before our baby is due in March.

Sammy is a tabby cat (he looks just like Tazz's Vic) and Duke (aka "Dukey") is all black. They are the absolute best tempered cats I have EVER known. They love to cuddle and play (Duke can play fetch). They are GREAT with kids, they lay there and let my kids lay on them, play with them and pull them around.

They are both neutered and front declawed. There is nothing wrong with them, we are just to a point where we need to find a new home for them. I am an overprotective parent and will keep them down in the basement when we have a newborn and I hate to do that to them.

A year or so ago, we did have a time when they peed on the dining room floor. We thought they had crystals in their urine so we tried a special food. Turns out they are perfectly healthy and can eat any kind of food. We put new flooring in our house and have had no issues since. I believe that the previous owners of our house had pets that had peed in those two spots and our cats could smell it, it was a behavioral thing.

Please please please consider adding they two guys to your family. They are brothers and must stay together. I will not take them to a shelter and will only give them to a family who will love them like we do. Please let me know if you are interested!!

You obviously didn't see Joan's thread yesterday.

Okay, I just read the thread. My cats do not **** or piss all over my house, I PROMISE!!!! They are honestly great cats, they are only three years old.

I do however understand how that guy feels about wanting to get rid of the cat before his baby comes. I have two small children already, this will be number 3. You can call me irresponsible, maybe that's the case, but in all honesty, when I got these cats they were adorable little baby kittens who were the cutest little things in the entire world. I should have been more responsible and looked at the long run of caring for two pets with three children. You may call me selfish, but I am just not up for having them in our small house with three little ones when we are almost never home. It's not fair to any of us. I KNOW that there has to be another family out there who will love them and give them the attention they need.

I posted this on CW because I am at a loss and I know that there are a lot of cat lovers who treat their pets like family and that's what I want for my cats!!

Awww...I love cats. I think some day I will be that crazy cat lady in the corner house with all the cats. DH, however, is not a crazy cat man. We have two now (and two dogs) and he really had a fit when I brought up adding a 3rd cat this summer.

I've always had cats & babies...I'm not sure why people get so nervous about them? Do you have other kids? Because if this is your first baby, and you're worried about the cat laying on the baby or something, they make this net tent thing that goes over cribs. If this is your first baby I think you will find that the baby is either sleeping in it's crib with the door closed (no cat issues when the door is closed) or in sight pretty much at all times, where you could monitor the cat & the baby.

I understand babe. I really hope you find a good home for them. :)

So do I. I think it was just the way he went about it that really annoyed me. Not to mention he should have enough money that he could have had a few more options to help his kitty rather than just offering it up on Twitter.

That's what I thought, too. I'm sure they will have a cleaning person or a nanny who can add 'clean up cat poop' to their daily chore list. :p

There's another reason I'm glad my uncle is coming home - someone else gets to clean the litter boxes. :hiphip:
