    Liz, I was reading the other day that it's something to do with the Gulf Stream.. it keeps our weather warmer than you would expect. And Carol, it'a actually pretty fluffy. It's actually quite nice, but I'm rather stressed over work.

    Hi all.. we have a LOT of snow today, and it's pretty much brought London and the South East to a standstill! All the London buses have been suspended, along with most of the tube. The girl's school is shut, and there's no way I'm driving in it.. my little car just wouldn't handle it.

    Thanks everyone.. it's just bad timing at my work, as we have a new manager, and I didn't want to make a bad impression. Oh well, it can't be helped. Carol, I'm glad to hear you're feeling a bit better!

    I'm not in a particularly good mood right now - Glen is doing jury service, and he's been chosen for a case that will last about 8 weeks. It's up in London, and is going to cause all sorts of childcare and work hassles for me. :(
