    I was on 1plus1hosting. I've now got a cheap dedicated server at joe's datacenter. The server is fine, it's restoring the forum that's proving to be a pain. At first, only the board index would show and clicking on anything would give a 403 and a 404 error. All my urls were broken. We finally managed to fix it though. Now all that's left is to get the /upload folder to work like it should.
